Welcome to the SpringHill Timebank!
Please fill out your profile now at:
You can find your profile by clicking on your name at the top right of the website after you login on the left side.  PLEASE Remember the password you used when you logged in before.
You are free to make requests and to make offers on this site now.
You can receive hours, which you can exchange with others, sometimes for things you are already doing to build community. sharing and caring.  So don't delay.
For more information about that, please attend the meetings where you can connect with members and get ideas about exchanges you want to offer or request. You can make your arrangements right there, or through the website.  Sometimes it's easier to just do it in person!
You can give yourself hours for attending meetings. Why? Because that is how we build community, which is the real goal of Timebanking.
We all have skills and abilities that we do easily that someone else needs. Sometimes it is so second nature to us that we don't even realize it is something to share. We would do it anyway! So exchange it for something you need or want. We all have something we put off because it is a challenge. In Timebanking, we may find someone who wants to help us.
There is usually a monthly meeting at Andy's place, generally on the second Thursday of each month at 7 PM. Andy's address is 1185 Macfarlane in Spring Hill, Fl. Although we don't have meetings at Andy's during the summer, Timebankers can get together at anytime and have exchanges. Enjoy your time and please engage with other members.
Feel free to join the Meetup group so that you can easily see the coming events, check as to whether there might be any change in schedule, and any added events like our regular potlucks. RSVP on the Meetup site, and change your RSVP if your plans change, so we know who is coming.
Again, you can receive hours for attending all meetings. Everyone is always encouraged to attend and meet new friends and bring new friends. It is customary, but not required, to bring a snack to share at meetings. There is always more to learn, more potential new friends, increased enjoyment and often, snacks!
